How to learn to play guitar?
I know I will not play electric, I definitely want to play acustic. Is there a good book anyone knows is great to learn? Also, Beginner Guitar what would you suggest? It can not be too expensive, but I can pay about two to three hundred dollars. (Baby-sitting pay.;)) Thanks to all who help!
I tried myself to teach the guitar. Here the best things I found. Guitar for Dummies Complete Idiot's Guide to Playing Guitar Youtube.com has many free video lessons. videos are a good tool too. If you do not understand something you can just go back and try again. Mel Bay has a line of videos for beginners to advanced players. The most important play with other people. You'd be surprised how much we can learn just by playing with other guitarists. Even the not so good you can learn something. Download TablEdit or Powertab. These are some great tools in my opinion.
