What songs could I play on guitar for a performance?
In my BTEC Performing Arts course I have to perform two contrasting songs on guitar showcasing my talent, ie I have to be the main aspect of the song. Also, each song has to have some kind of backing track or instrument. I originally planned to do Classico by Tenacious D and Cant Get My Head Around You by The Offspring, but classico has no backing and the offspring one is all power chords. I’m not the best at guitar, but i was wondering if anyone could suggest any songs I could play, up to intermediate level?
I like Deep Purple and their song smoke on the water. How about this?
