learn to play acoustic guitar easy or not /?

So my friend and I each bought a guitar and you go take lessons. of what I saw on the internet it seems very difficult to learn all the notes and where to place your fingers and which strings to a stroke. if you play the guitar or departure, was it easy for you to learn or not. I mean I just got my guitar and I'm almost ready to give up already. We no background music either. What do you think?

Well, yes its hard but you get used to. My only suggestion for beginners is to have fun with! and you also get used to knowing where all the notes and eventually your fingers move without you having to think about! Indy:)
