What techniques do you suggest for Learning Guitar?

I have not played in years and I want to learn to play. What types techniques do you suggest for learning how to play guitar with both hands, knowing that the note on which to worry, and ear, knowing the notes sound.

1.) Practice, Practice, Practice. With a little bit of practice you can get a better fate. 2.) Continuously review notes and frets in your mind. Points on the mark each fretboard and fret other double points mark the 12th fret is an octave higher than the open string. 3.) If you can sing, you can learn by ear, but it may take longer for some people. It is not difficult if you go on your mind every note of the song. 4.) Like everyone else, knew by his notes come with time. I hope that helped =)
