How long does it take to learn to play acoustic guitar online?
I use ultimate-guitar.com, btw.
I play Less than two years and learned everything online. I play a little, and how you play to determine how fast you do it well. After some months I had the basic chords and switching between them. After a year I could play almost anything I wanted on my acoustic as long as it was not too difficult (n Andy McKee and Tommy Emmanuel at this point). Now I know that music a little more theory, can cope better, I started to sing with songs I play, I can learn songs easily through in a matter of minutes, and I learned a few things quite difficult. You never stop learning when you start playing an instrument, but I would say that you should be able to play a bunch of songs easy to use agreements in about 3-6 months depending the amount that you play (you can certainly learn a song in a quantity much less time if you work on it, but I would not say that you really knew "how to play guitar at that time).
