how to play the guitar books
What is the best way to start learning to play guitar? Any book suggestions?
I get a guitar for Christmas (I 'm pretty sure its an acoustic) and I've never touched one before in my life. I have no idea how to take, but I know I really want to learn to play Beatles songs. Should I get a guitar "for dummies" type book first, or will I be able to start with something like a book of Beatles guitar? Also, does anyone have any recommendations on books that are useful for guitar beginners sound? (Especially The Beatles!) Thanks to all who can help you! :] As much as I would get lessons, I can not. Right now I am a student secondary in a limited time and money, if the lessons are beyond question. Thank you very much! (I'm always looking for self-learning course books for acoustic guitar though!)]
The best easy read book with clear explanations that I found is: "How To Play Guitar" Roger Evans-Everything You Need To Know To Play Guitar-(a bestseller since 1979) cost $ 10.95 at your local book store or they can order it for you. Once you go by the book (124 pages) while learning the guitar or music book will be much easier to understand and make good progress. Before you receive your new guitar – the first 15 pages of this book will be of great help to help you choose the right "standard" guitar for you (based on your tastes music and ambitions). Finally for further progress you may want to obtain a "qualified" guitar teacher say who can read the music. You'll be surprised how many teachers "of the guitar can not read music and only teach you what they know about the agreements and some songs they play. To add insult to injury they apply the same as a teacher-musician bona fide guitar will be load. When you feel ready for a teacher always ask their qualifications. If they can not read music – Move On – do not waste your money. contemplate your guitar and practice, practice, practice 45 min. 1 hour per day.
