how to learn acoustic guitar

Discipline when you practice the guitar is very important. Learning to play the guitar is one of the most rewarding things I have ever made in my life, but he was also one of the most difficult. The reason I became responsible with my instrument is simple. I practiced and I practiced a lot, every day in my room since the age of 16 years (I'm 25 now). I spent most of my time practicing the fundamentals: up and down ladders, changing chords and trying to improve my repertoire of songs.
Sometimes it was easy take the time to practice because I was in a good mood and I really wanted to play. In these moments I could spend hours just listening to how that it sounded cool when I changed the agreement between D to G chord But other days it was my discipline and desire to play and improve this practice and made me grow as a player.
There are two main factors when it comes to discipline in practice: Regular and practice well. Both elements are important to address.
Practice regularly the most obvious and easy to do. Basically, you must play the guitar every day. They do not need to be mammoth sessions of three hours long. 30 minutes is usually no problem If you are concentrated during this time. Make regular, small amounts of practice is much better than going for hours once a week. I know that in a busy life, it can be difficult to take time to practice, but honestly, 30 minutes per day is possible for anyone. There no fixed time which is best practice but I prefer doing it at night, simply because I find playing the guitar is a relaxing way to relax after a stressful day.
Practice is most common bad and difficult to treat the problem. This is something that affects even the most experienced player. This problem has several causes and solutions.
- Playing the same thing again and again each time you play. I am a firm believer that you should play something perfectly before continuing. But once you know how to play something you need to move forward and back constantly yourself.
- The reverse is also a problem: spending too quickly. You should practice as you play a part well before you go on to the next thing. Playing perfectly and precisely is an excellent habit for all musicians to have.
- Do not focus on the development of all parts of your musicality when you exercise. I like to share my game in parts. For example, I could Take 5 minutes to practice scales or new agreements, 10 minutes working on writing new music for myself and maybe 15 minutes learning a new song or part of a song.
- Playing things too quickly when you first try and learn them. This may you lose confidence in your game when you try to learn a new song. Most guitarists, including myself trying to play a song at a speed slow before trying a rapid pace.
Practice properly and regularly is the best way to become good at anything, including playing the guitar. This requires discipline. Not only the discipline to practice regularly, but also the discipline to stay focused and on track when you exercise. If you stay disciplined with your game you develop yourself to an excellent player.
