What are easy, great sounding songs to play on a guitar?

I started playing the guitar and I like some songs easy to learn. I like groups like the vines, The Libertines, The White Stripes, The Strokes and The Beatles.

ok so im a guitarist too. I started playing acoustic .. eh. 3 or 4 years .. unofrtunately on and off. Now what Im about to recommend … sounds great .. stupid, miserable, and as something u really do not want to do .. but u. im saying. it works. Thats how I learned to play first song I ever played. Note: These are mainly songs are not keeping pace. I mean for u to lead parties. Learn to play things like Amazing Grace, Greensleeves, etc. Basic holiday songs, country songs, spirit. Once you master these, you'll have a better understanding of the guitar much more you start to develop reading habits. Once you master these, I suggest starting with groups like .. Blink 182, Green Day, etc. to get the feel of agreements and stuff like that. Then, just feel free to splurge and test your limits on a song you want to try. (You'll realize what you can and cannot play by this time trust me). The link below has tabs for almost all the songs I've never tried. Good luck fellow guitarist!
